Our Brand New Boxes
2nd April 2026

After very almost ten years, our chocolate boxes have been totally revamped.

The old chocolates were delicious and still contained a few recipes created by a 16-year-old Finlay in his parents’ kitchen when he was dreaming of becoming a full-time chocolatier. Still, despite our love of all of our recipes, about a year and a half ago we decided it was time for a change. Since then, Finlay and our team of chocolatiers have been working hard to curate a pantry of exciting new Scottish ingredients, tirelessly perfecting recipes and designs to create what we bring you today; six brand new chocolate collections.

Still Scottish. Still handmade. Now, even better.

Over the last 18 months, here’s what we’ve been working on:

One new shape

Each Chocolates of Glenshiel chocolate will now be our own custom shape, with our logo diamond shape on top. The chocolates are bigger now, with almost twice as much filling as before (yes that’s right, whilst it seems chocolates everywhere else are getting smaller and smaller, ours are getting bigger!) and a very satisfying bite. To differentiate the flavours, each one is decorated beautifully with different colours.

Two boxes

Our new boxes are still made of paper and are fully recyclable, but now they’re much studier, with built-in separators that don’t fall out when you lift a chocolate out. The collections come in two sizes, wee (5 chocolates) and big (15 chocolates) with the same flavours in each.

Twenty-six new flavours

That’s right. Twenty-six new flavours for you to sink your teeth in to, as well as four old favourites we’ve held on to, both because we love them and because we were a wee bit scared of the stramash that might ensue if we lost them! Are you able to spot them?

Each chocolate features something Scottish and is handmade right here in the Highlands. From nostalgic, comforting favourites – think sticky toffee pudding – to innovative combinations – think strawberries and balsamic, each bite brings you a taste of Scotland.

We’ve poured a lot of love into these new chocolates and we are really proud of the results. We hope you love them as much as we do and can’t wait to hear what you think. Thank you, as always, for your support. It means the world.

Finlay & Co. X

Introducing your six new collections.

The HIGHLAND Collection

Scottish Fudge

Salted Caramel

Skye Whisky

Honey Caramel

Caramel Latte

Finlay’s Favourite: Caramel Latte

Finlay says: Another good name for this box would be Local Heroes. It includes delicious ingredients from some of our closest foodie neighbours and friends. I think it is a true taste of the beauty of our highland home.
Laura makes the most delicious fudge out of gold chocolate and our friends at Isle of Skye Sea Salt do the most incredible work making salt that is the very best.

The SIGNATURE Collection

Blossom Honey & Pistachio

Tablet Popcorn

Dundee Marmalade

Blackcurrant Jam

Heather Honey & Raspberry

Finlay’s Favourite: Blackcurrant Jam
Finlay says: If you wanted to choose one box that shows how good Scottish chocolate can be – the signature is the one. I love how fun and modern this selection is. The Highlands have a rich history, but also a vibrant present.

The tablet popcorn is an excellent example of this, taking such a traditional Scottish sweet and giving it a modern twist. Another favourite is the heather honey and raspberry white chocolate, of course named for the heather honey it contains and for my lovely wife Heather.

The WHISKY Collection

Highland Ginger

Islay Truffle

Lowlands Honey

Speyside Truffle

Campbeltown Caramel

Finlay’s Favourite: Campbeltown Caramel

Finlay says: Perfect for a whisky lover or novice. I often say that this box appeals to both my dad – a whisky lover, and my mum – a whisky sceptic. We love whisky and we handle it very carefully, ensuring we keep the distinctive quality of each dram. The chocolate adds a lovely sweetness to the whisky and makes it a favourite even to whisky sceptics like my mum!

The BOOZY Collection

Finlay’s Favourite: Elderberry Wine

Bothy Rum

Elderberry Wine

Tomatin Whisky

Arran Gold

Limoncello

Finlay says: We had to have a whisky chocolate in a Scottish boozy box and the whisky caramel is my obsession at the moment. There is so much more to Scotland’s booze scene though.

This box has my favourite Scottish fruit wine and of course Bothy Rum. Our house has a bottle of this available at all times – it is divine. The Arran Gold is a longstanding favourite too – so good!

The MILK CHOCOLATE Collection

Sticky Toffee Pudding

Gingerbread

Peanut Butter & Bramble Jam

Treacle Caramel

Salted Truffle

Finlay’s Favourite: Treacle Caramel

Finlay says: This box is designed to bring comfort. Such a delightful, easy-going collection. I think this is actually the box I reach for most often.

Treacle in a caramel is a game changer! Bramble jam and peanut butter is an unbeatable combo for Heather and I. Sticky toffee pudding has to be the nation’s favourite dessert (and the first chocolate I ever made!) and like my Gaelic speaking family would say the gingerbread tastes like real ‘aran-cridhe’.

The DARK CHOCOLATE Collection

Finlay’s Favourite: Smoked Salt Caramel
Finlay says: This is our black-tie box; so elegant and rich. If you’re looking for after dinner chocolates, this collection is the one.

I love the strawberry and balsamic chocolate, it works so well. The mocha truffle is made with our own espresso, and the smoked salt caramel is taking salted caramel to the next level.
